Privacy policy

Teleri Techworks is a software consultancy based in South Wales. Registered in England and Wales, no. 15898188. We are the data controller for the personal information described here.

Questions about this policy or your information can go to hello@teleri.tech.

• When you use our contact form: your name, email address and whatever you write in your message.
• When you email us: your email address, your message and anything else you choose to include.
• If you become a client: contact and billing details, and the information needed to do the work we've agreed.
• When you visit the site: the company that hosts it keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry and arrange a call if you want one
• carry out work you have asked us to do, and invoice for it
• keep the financial records the law requires

We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, on the contract we have with you when you are a client, and on our legal obligations for accounting records. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to.

We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We use a small number of service providers who handle it on our behalf:

• Resend, which delivers messages from our contact form to our inbox
• our email provider, which stores the emails we send and receive
• our website hosting provider

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

If your enquiry doesn't lead to work, we delete it within two years. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for six years after the work ends, as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your information, where we no longer need to keep it
• stop or limit how we use it
• send your information to you or another organisation in a usable format

If you're unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
